A patriot from the end of the Edo period and the Meiji Restoration period. He was born in Niigata Pref in 1839 His name was Akitada, his other character was Shimei, and his names were Aizan, Kan-u, and Suiko. During the Boshin War in 1868, volunteer farmers from nearby areas were organized to form the Hokushin-tai. He became a captain himself and cooperated with the government forces. He died in 1892 at the age of 53. |
